Hopefully they will keep some for home time to share with you all too.  Learning covered: Health and Wellbeing / Literacy / Science.

Speech and Language Therapy

At Cove Bay Kindergarten, we understand that children’s development in speech and language is essential to their ability to communicate and learn, reaching their full potential. That is why we have our own company Speech and Language Therapist who visits our setting to help us identify any issues at the earliest stages and intervene at the best time for your child. This development is unique to the Bertram Nursery Group and helps us to provide the best care possible for your child.

Cove Bay Kindergarten Children visit Still Game Project at Aberdeen Football Club

Emma Walker, our Senior Nursery Nurse at Cove Bay Kindergarten in Aberdeen has returned from a very successful visit with our pre-school children to Aberdeen Football Club.   To quote – “It was “fantastic”!

The children arrived and met some participates of the Still Game programme, who they understood had activities funded by the Comic Relief money they raised.  The children performed a rendition of the “Wheels on the bus” and then were given a guided tour of the grounds, visiting the locker room (apparently very smelly..), boot room, the board room with all the trophies and the dugout where they could pretend to be the managers.  Everyone talked about the players training in St Andrews this week in preparation for the big game on Sunday and also that there are some players visiting schools to promote Sport Relief.

The children are really interested in raising money for those less fortunate than themselves, and for Sport Relief next week will take part in a Sponsored silly walks around the park, wearing their favourite dressing up outfit.
